Army, 3 Years Served one year of service in Seoul, Korea, 1958-1959. Honorably Discharged in September, 1960 at Fort McPherson, GA.
Edward Boylan Class of 1977
Army, 20+ Years Graduated from VMI and was commissioned in the Field Artillery. Served in the Federal Republic of Germany, Commanded and taught Tactics and Gunnery at the Field Artillery School at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. Retired a Lieutenant Colonel after 20 years.

Army, 20+ Years Commisioned after graduating from VMI in 1981. Served in the Field Artillery in Germany, Fort Bragg, NC, VMI, Korea, Former Soviet Union, and the Pentagon. Retired in 2002.

Navy, 13 Years After 13 years active duty in the Navy, I did 8 years Va Army National Guard; from where I retired.

Navy, 20+ Years I served 13 years in the NAVY, immediately after high school. My daughter was on the way, so I turned down a football scholarship to ECSU to provide for my family. I have no regrets. We were able to live in Puerto Rico for five years, thanks to the Navy. I later did 8 years in the ARMY. Between the two, I saw and did a lot; more than most could in a lifetime.

Army, 7 Years I spent 7 years as a Military Policeman taking my Basic Training at Fort Knox, Ky. MP training at Fort Gordon, Ga. Stationed at Fort Knox, Ky. for 15 months. Next went to Wildflecken, West Germany (right on the former East German border_ Very Nervous times) Suffered spinal injury & retired. Worked for 2 major American corporations, and now retired & single in Sarasota, Florida
