I was in the navy from 12/07/79-12/06/1982 I was on the carrier Constellation two western Pacific deployments. Joined the army in January 1983 and retired in February 1995. While in the army I spent three years 1984-1987 patrolling the Czech border and the southern portion of the east German border. With the 2nd armored cavalry regiment. 1987-1989 Ft. Leonard Wood Missouri as an instructor at the engineer school. Then from 1989-1992 I was back in Germany in Nuremberg with the 16TH Engineer Battalion C.Co. 1St. ARMORED DIVISION who I deployed with for Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm. From 24Dec1990-30Apr1991. FT.BLISS 21Apr1992-01Feb1995. I was with the 43RD COMBAT ENGINEER COMPANY 3RD ARMORED CAVALRY REGIMENT and retired and stayed in El Paso,TX ever since.
