Classmate becoms famous.

In the summer of 1940, I enrolled in East Bakersfield High School.
I majored in Mechanical Drawing, and Future Farmers
The reason I chose, Future Farmers is because a friend by the name of Robert Mosley told me there wouldn't be any homework. Our instructor was Mr. Shore.
Since east Bakersfield High didn't have a farm, we were bussed across town to Bakersfield High School's farm, that was located out in the country.
A few months later Japan Bombed Pearl Harbor, and the next.
day the entire student body was sent to the auditorium to hear President Roosevelt give a speech.
Months later my classmate Robert Mosley asked me to join the Navy with him. I told him I wasn't old enough, and beside, I want to play football another year, as I had already earned my letterman's big red "B" for playing on the Daggers football team.
I also told him when I join up it will be in the Marines.
Well, it wasn't long before Robert quit school and joined the navy.
A few months later, after being in boot camp, in Sam Diego, he and a couple other sailors, all dressed in their white uniforms, went into down for the day. Where there they noticed a movie company shooting a movie with Shirley Temple. Needing some sailors in the movie, the director ask Robert and his friend to move in close and be in the movie.
When done Shirley Temple asker Robert to look her up when he gets home after the war. A few years later, when Robert came home, he did just as Shirley Temple asked.
After Robert had filled in with small parts, he was discovered by another director. He called in Robert, and asked if he would like to make movies, and be the star yourself. This he did, and made over eighty movies under the movie name of "Guy Madison.
