After graduating high school, I joined the U.S. Army on June 23, 1989 and was honorably discharged on June 23, 1992 - now a service connected disabled veteran. My MOS was 13B10, CANNON CREWMEMBER. Basic training was at Fort Sill, OK. First duty station was with the 2nd Battalion, 5th Field Artillery, Neu-Ulm, Germany. After Desert Storm in 1991, I returned to the States and was stationed with the 5th Battalion, 29th Field Artillery at Fort Carson, Colorado. I served as a cannon crewmember on the M109 Self Propelled, 155mm howitzer - the "King of Battle"!
