The Reunion Committee is extending a warm “Welcome Back” to our fellow Alumni.
Festivities are scheduled for the weekend of September 4th, 5th, & 6th, 2015.
Friday, September 4th - Welcome Reception
MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center - 7pm -11pm
We will be gathering to welcome the Class of 1980 in the MeadowView Marriott Courtyard.
Drop by for a chance to catch up in a causal environment on the outdoor patio with a cheese & veggie tray.
Dinner will NOT be provided
however, you are welcome to order from the menu with the indoor bar staff if desired (cash bar provided).
Saturday, September 5th – School Tour/Dinner - MeadowView Marriott
Conference Resort & Convention Center
We will be having a tour of the school for returning “Indians”! Come see how the school has changed for the better. The tour will start at 12 o’clock noon and
we will meet at the flag pole!
The night’s event will include a Cocktail Hour
in our exclusive cocktail lounge area with Cash Bar
followed by a
Buffet Meal with plenty of time for conversation,
visiting and catching up while we enjoy some music from our generation.
The evening will also include a special performance by our very own “JD Moore”& guests,
6pm – 7pm Cocktails (cash bar only)
7pm - Buffet Dinner Begins
Sunday, September 6th - Eastman Cabin #38 – 1:00pm – 4:00pm
Here’s a chance to bring all of the little “Indians” to have a fun day outdoors!
We are providing a place to gather and visit with your entire family.
Feel free to bring your favorite Kingsport exclusive food, such as a Big Pal and a Frenchie Fry!

The $65.00 cost for the Reunion is inclusive and will increase to $75.00 after the deadline of July 4th.
Rooms are available at a discounted rate of $104.00 for the reunion at
MeadowView Marriott Conference Resort & Convention Center
for Friday and Saturday, September 4th & 5th.

The dining hall at the old John Sevier Jr High has been rented and a donation jar will be present to help pay for the hall and decorations. Bring finger foods, soft drinks and any sweets you wish to share. We would also like to encourage you bring donations of canned food and cat or dog food to help local organizations that are in need of these items. There will be bingo and various games with nice prizes. We will have a variety of music ( sorry - no D.J. ). No need to put on the tux for this gathering. Dress comfortably. The Yadkin St entrance is the best way to reach the dining hall. We look forward to seeing those that can attend. One more item I need to mention. Please bring a wrapped Christmas ornament to be exchanged and PLEASE spend no more than $ 2.00 on the ornament.

Ok, mark your calendars, we're going to try to have a combined reunion with the Class of "84 this coming fall. The fun will begin on Friday, October 1st with the DB vs South football game. We were trying to do a "free" event, where there is no fee to come, just do what you can. You're on your own for tickets to the game, sorry, the Alumni Field House is not available this time. If anyone is interested in a golf outing like we had at the 20th, we can arrange for that. As for Saturday night festivities, we'll check out some of the new restaurants/clubs in the downtown area that feature live music. We're open to suggestions to what else to plan for the weekend. Spread the word, we won't be mailing invitations, so it's up to word of mouth and Facebook to let everyone know. We look forward to seeing you in October!
