Justin McCracken
Class of 2003
Air Force, 6 Years
After graduation in May 2003, McCracken went to enlisted in the United States Airforce. He graduated from basic training that fall and went on to technical school. In early Spring 2004, McCracken was stationed at Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV. That October he married his high school sweetheart. Two years later they had a little boy, named Bryson. At the end of 2007 McCracken was stationed at Osan AFB in South Korea. While he spent the next year there, his wife and son moved back to Georgia to be with their families. On Christmas morning 2008, McCracken returned to the states. In January 2009 he was stationed at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. That March, the McCrackens welcomed their little girl, Bailey into the world. In the summer of 2009 McCracken found out he would be going to Iraq at the beginning of 2010. Today Ssgt McCracken is serving in Balad, Iraq as a Crew Chief on the F-15 fighter plane. Through out his service Ssgt McCracken has won numerous awards and honors, including ranking at the top of his class in technical school. In the fall of 2009, McCracken signed for another 6 years of service in the Airforce.
