DALLAS COMMUNITY CLASS OF 1971 [ NOW KNOWN AS DALLAS CENTER-GRIMES ] Alright! Well I believe I've sent out enough emails/letters and given enough time for RSVP's. A little surprised at the low turn out, but maybe more will decide to come as the time gets near. To date 25 responded, 20 said they will be attending. Many spouses coming along also, good to hear. A reminder, we are having this in the restaurant side of the Harvest Moon in Dallas Center Friday Night, August 26th. A social hour is planned from 5-6PM, [there is a cash bar], dinner from 6-7PM, [everyone pays for their meal] and hopefully more socializing after! We will be the largest group in the restaurant. Denise, the owner, has asked if we would consider the following: burgers, rib eye, pulled pork sandwiches, any salads, steak, fettuccine, as our main choices. It will help them serve us faster. However the full menu is still open to us. Saturday, many have indicated and/or have reservations about being in the parade that morning. Not a problem, this is why I ask for input. Some will not be sticking around the next day, or just want to sit and watch the parade. Maybe some would be interested in going through the old school. Between Vicky and myself that can be arranged. All this can be discussed Friday Night. Wow just a few months ago there was all kinds of time, now its just around the corner and I'm quickly becoming a wreck!
