FRIDAY, JULY 29TH TIME: 7:30 PM - ? (IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT UNTIL LATER, COME WHEN YOU CAN!) LOCATION: “CRACKERS” - OUT BACK BY THE TIKI BAR! PRICING NOT INCLUDED: PAY FOR WHAT YOU EAT AND/OR DRINK OR JUST COME TO HANG OUT & CATCH UP! Extra Info On This Night: MEET UP AT THE INFAMOUS "CRACKERS," FOR THOSE WHO ARE IN TOWN ALREADY AND WOULD LIKE TO JOIN UP ON THE BACK DECK BY THE TIKI BAR. WE ARE HAVING A SECTION ROPED OFF EXCLUSIVELY FOR US TO SIT. THIS WILL NOT BE INCLUDED IN EACH PERSON'S PRICE BECAUSE SOME MAY OR MAY NOT BE ABLE TO JOIN US DUE TO TRAVELING INTO TOWN AND SO ON. A FUN KICKOFF TO OUR WEEKEND FOR ANYONE WHO WANTS TO COME EAT, DRINK OR JUST HANG-OUT AND ENJOY OLD FRIENDS AND A LIVE BAND THEY WILL HAVE. THIS NIGHT IS VERY CASUAL - SO DON’T WORRY TOO MUCH IF YOU CAN’T MAKE IT, CAN’T GET THERE UNTIL A BIT LATER OR STILL TRAVELING TO TOWN THAT NIGHT. SATURDAY, JULY 30TH : FAMILY DAY-BRING THE KIDS TOO! TIME: 11:00 (CATERING WILL BE SET UP FOR LUNCH AT 12:00 ISH). LOCATION : KING’S BAY PARK ADDRESS: NW 3RD ST. ( IN CRYSTAL RIVER; NOT TOO FAR DOWN FROM HUNTER SPRINGS) LUNCH: CATERING BY BUBBA Q’S ENTRÉE: PULLED PORK & BBQ CHICKEN SIDES INCLUDE: BAKED BEANS, MAC & CHEESE, SLAW & GARLIC BREAD DRINKS: TEA/SWEET TEA, WATER, SODAS ( I WILL BRING JUICE BOXES FOR THE LITTLE ONES IN A COOLER) PRICING : $9/ PERSON THIS INCLUDES THEM BRINGING THE FOOD TO US, SETTING IT UP, LUNCH, DRINKS, UTENSILS, PLATES/CUPS/NAPKINS. THIS WAS THE BEST PRICE I FOUND THAT INCLUDED ALL THE ABOVE, I HAVE ALSO HEARD SOME GREAT FEEDBACK ON THEIR FOOD FROM MANY FRIENDS AND FAMILY. • THEY ARE ASKING FOR A DEPOSIT OF HALF THE COST OF THE FOOD, 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO THIS DAY. THIS DEPOSIT WILL, OF COURSE, GO TOWARD THE BILL FOR THE CATERING. SO WE WILL NEED A PRETTY GOOD HEADCOUNT AROUND THAT TIME SO THAT WE ARE ABLE TO PROVIDE THIS TO THEM. THEY ALSO REQUEST A 3 DAY NOTICE ON THE FINAL HEADCOUNT. Extra Info On This Day:: AFTER TALKING WITH THE CITY, I FOUND OUT THAT THIS PARK IS ONLY ABOUT A YEAR OLD, MAKING IT UNKNOWN TO MOST ( I WENT BY THERE 3 TIMES ON 2 DIFFERENT SATURDAYS,AND NO-ONE WAS THERE!) IT IS AN EXTREMELY SHADED LARGE AREA WITH A NICE NEW PLAYGROUND FOR THE KIDDOS WHO WILL BE SHARING THE DAY WITH US! ALSO IS RIGHT OFF FROM THE WATER (ACROSS THE STREET) SO HOPEFULLY WE WILL HAVE A NICE BREEZE TOO PLENTY OF PARKING SPACE & THE BOARDWALK/PIER IS THERE TO WALK ALONG. IT IS A REALLY BEAUTIFUL SPOT! FOOD WILL BE SET UP UNDER A LARGE COVERED PAVILION AREA AND THERE ARE CLOSE TO 30 PICNIC TABLES WE CAN PUSH TOGETHER. I WOULD LOVE INPUT ON SOME FUN STUFF TO DO, SUCH AS SIMPLE TREASURE HUNT (FOR KIDS) AND SOME WATER BALLOONS, ETC? MY HUSBAND HAS SOME FRIENDS THAT I THINK I HAVE TALKED INTO BUILDING A SIMPLE WOODEN “PIRATE SHIP” FOR PICTURES, THE KIDS, US…LOL! TO HAVE THERE AS WELL. LOCATED RIGHT NEXT TO THE PARK AREA IS THE “MANATEE TOUR & DIVE” SHOP. THE OWNER SAID WE CAN USE THEIR BATHROOMS THAT DAY (THEY ARE REALLY CLEAN!) ALSO CAN SET UP KAYAKING, BOAT RENTALS, WHATEVER IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. THEY WOULD JUST NEED A WEEK OR SO NOTICE SO THAT THEY COULD HOLD SPOTS AND RENTALS. I CAN GET TOGETHER PRICING TO ANYONE WHO IS INTERESTED IN ANY OF THEIR SERVICES & RENTALS WHETHER YOU WOULD LIKE TO GO BEFORE, DURING OR AFTER THE GET TOGETHER. BEING AT 11 AM, I THOUGHT THAT WOULD ALLOW TIME FOR EVERYONE TO ARRIVE AND HANG OUT, SO THAT BY 12 OR SO THE FOOD WILL BE SET AND READY! ALSO TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION OUR “MAIN EVENT” DINNER LATER THIS EVENING (6PM), IT WILL GIVE EVERYONE ENOUGH TIME TO ENJOY THE DAY AND STILL HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO REST AND GET READY FOR DINNER. IF ANYONE HAS ANY OTHER THOUGHTS ON WHAT TIME THIS SHOULD START AND SO ON, JUST POST SUGGESTIONS. SATURDAY NIGHT :MAIN EVENT/DINNER LOCATION: CAFÉ ON THE AVENUE TIME: 6PM PRICE: $30 PER PERSON… THIS WILL BE A “SIT-DOWN” DINNER. Extra Info On This Night:: THIS IS A FANTASTIC PRICE COMPARED TO EVERY OTHER VENUE I CALLED...WE DO NOT HAVE TO GUARANTEE A MINIMUM OR SIGN A CONTRACT- HUGE PLUS! IT HAS BEEN RENOVATED INSIDE AND IS JUST AMAZING! VERY UPSCALE FEEL, AWESOME SERVICE AND THEY ARE VERY FLEXIBLE WITH EVERYTHING! THE $30 COVERS YOUR SALAD, ENTREE (Choice of 3, which I will list below), VEGETABLE, A STARCH, ROLLS, AND NON-ALCOHOLIC DRINKS (TEA, SODA, ETC) ALSO INCLUDES TAX AND GRATUITY AND NO VENUE RENTAL HERE! JUST COST OF FOOD! THEY HAVE AN AWESOME LOOKING BAR AND IT WILL BE OPEN AS A "CASH" BAR FOR THOSE WHO WILL BE DRINKING! I DO NOT SEE A WAY TO INCLUDE THIS IN EVERYONE’S PRICE DUE TO THE FACT THAT MANY MAY NOT DRINK AND SO ON... Entree #1: Filet Entree #2: Shrimp Scampi (or) Entree #3: Chicken Picatta • THEY ASK FOR AN OFFICIAL HEADCOUNT AND MEAL CHOICE 2 WEEKS PRIOR TO OUR DINNER, WHICH IS ALSO GREAT BECAUSE THAT GIVES EVERYONE PLENTY OF TIME TO SEE IF THEY ARE ABLE TO ATTEND THIS NIGHT OR NOT. WE WILL ALSO HAVE A CAKE, WHICH WE PROVIDE...I HAVE SPOKEN WITH PUBLIX BAKERY ONCE WE GET A BETTER IDEA OF WHO WILL BE AT DINNER WE WILL HAVE AN IDEA OF HOW BIG A CAKE TO ORDER AND THE PRICE OF IT. ALSO, IT WOULD BE SPECIAL ( & ENTERTAINING) TO HAVE OLD PICS UP ON A BIG BOARD AND FUN STUFF LIKE THAT FOR EVERYONE TO LOOK AT. IT WOULD BE GREAT TO START GETTING SOME OF YOURS TOGETHER SO THAT WE HAVE ALL KINDS OF DIFFERENT ONES UP! Pictures are being posted on Facebook page, but since not everyone frequents that site, feel free to post them on this page and I will get them printed for Reunion picture collage :) SUNDAY, JULY 31ST The High School has CHANGED A LOT SINCE WE GRADUATED! It is currently under construction and the use of the cafeteria has been questionable...but is looking good right now. I will let everyone know for sure the status of that as soon as I get word from the school. The plan is for a simple, relaxing farewell meet up while enjoying donuts, bagels, etc. This food will actually be donated to our reunion by an awesome grocery manager. The beverages (OJ, Cofee, Milk,etc) will be the only cost here. If use of the school falls through, we can still get together elsewhere and enjoy a quick breakfast before heading our separate ways... PRICING: Each Event Has Different Pricing. You Will only Need To Pay For Those Events You Are Able To Attend (hopefully all of course). EVENT COST BREAKDOWN: SO, DURING THE WEEKEND WE WILL NOT BE “RENTING” ANY VENUES, SO THAT’S GOOD! Saturday, July 30th: "FAMILY DAY LUNCH"- $9/person SATURDAY EVENING DINNER- $30/person With a "cash" bar available of course, but no alcohol included in event price. SUNDAY July 30th AM- $3 per"Adult" (Beverages,paper goods). DECORATIONS Which Will Apply to all due to balloons, tablecloths, activity supllies, and other small imilar items.- $10 PER "ALUMNI" THIS WILL BE SPLIT BETWEEN THE CRHS GRADS ONLY, NOT OUR GUESTS/Family. CAKE: (A COST FOR SAT DINNER ATTENDEES ONLY) DEPENDING ON THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE, THE PRICE WILL VARY A SMALL AMOUNT-PUBLIX SHEET CAKES ARE VERY REASONABLE; I WAS RECENTLY QUOTED AT $145 FOR A CAKE THAT FEED 160 FOR A BABY SHOWER …JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA. In Order for everyone to pay ahead of time, we will probably have to estimate this particular cost, I WILL CONTACT PUBLIX AGAIN AND GO OVER PRICES USING DIFFERENT NUMBER OF GUESTS, this way it will be a pretty accurate amount. I will post that as soon as I speak with them. WILL BE FINISHING UP OUR EVENT WEBSITE, WHERE THE PAYMENTS WILL BE MADE, SAFE, SECURELY AND SIMPLE. YOU ARE ABLE TO RSVP THERE AS WELL AND ALSO INCLUDE NUMBER OF GUESTS, NAMES (FOR NAMETAGS) AND SATURDAY EVENINGS DINNER ENTREE CHOICE FOR EACH ATTENDEE. I am Also Working out a way to break down each event so u can specify the ones you will be attending.
