Last weekend I was going through some old boxes trying to clean things out at my house when I came across a class ring that does not belong to me. I vaguely remember finding it quite a few years back but honestly I can't remember where I found it. It belongs to a 1979 graduate of CLS and I'm supposing she played tennis because there is a tennis player on one side of the ring. It is inscribed inside with the name Denise R. Bartle - I'm not positive of the last name because it is a little hard to make out, but that should be close enough to determine the owner.
As I said, I have no idea where I found this and what makes it even more curious is that I have never been to Crystal Lake, although I've made quite a few trips to Chicago over the years, most especially in the 80's. I know at the time I found it I was at a loss as to how to find the owner because quite frankly there was no internet to speak of at the time and I had no real idea where Crystal Lake is. I'm not sure why I even kept it, and obviously I forgot about it over the years, but here we are in 2010 and YAY for technology.
I live in Avon Lake Ohio and would love to return this. It is in excellent shape, very clean, it has a red stone with a script 'D' inlaid on the stone.
