About Event

Cost for Sat. Dinner is $55 for single $100 per couple due before event send your money to Rosie Montejano Felix "Omegans" Class of 1960!! As our 50th CHS Class reunion approaches, we have an opportunity to honor and remember our old High School as no other class has ever done. We have the opportunity to donate a Commemorative Bench to the City of Corona from the Class of '60 and have it placed at our old high school, the present site of Corona Civic Center. No other class in the history of Corona High School as ever honored our former High School with any kind of commemorative or memorial. A commemorative bench from the class of 1960 will not only recognize our old High School but our class as well. The Bench will have the following inscription: "Omegans, The last Graduating Class of 1960 Commemorates Site of Corona High School, 1923 - 1960 Presented on October 22, 2010" The cost of manufacturing and designing the bench is $2500. We, the Class of '60, need to raise the $2500 through donations. Donate any amount you can, but donate NOW! The bench will be unveiled and dedicated at a '50's theme informal social gathering at our old high school LIBRARY on Friday, October 22, 2010. Time will be from 3 PM to 6 PM. It will be a no host social with drinks and finger food. So, Omegans, we need your support. As a kick-off to our 50th Class reunion, we will have an informal social gathering at our former library at good ol'Corona High School. Catch up with classmates in an informal setting. Come to the unveiling and dedication of the Commemorative Bench. Guys wear your football/basketball/athletic jersey with your old number. You can purchase a Corona High School jersey by logging on to Corona Norco Unified School District, follow the links: High Schools, Corona High, Alumni and Apparel for classmates and alumni. You can actually design your own T-shirt or sweatshirt. Or find your old lettermen's jacket or sweater, wear it. Gals dig out your '50's attire, GAA sweater or Levis with the cuffs rolled up. Remember its a '50's Theme, don't be square, come dressed like you used to back in the fabulous '50's.
