CWO-3 Norman R. Massey Class of 1969
Army, 20+ Years Member of first CBHS Army ROTC class, 1969. Enlisted 1971, served 13 years and achieved the rank of Sergeant First Class before being selected for appointment as a Warrant Officer in 1984. Commissioned Chief Warrant Officer 2 in 1987. Retired from HQ Special Operations Command Fort Bragg as Chief Warrant Officer 3 in 1991 after 20 years service.
George Thompson Class of 1992
Army, 19 Years Medically Retired at 19 yrs of service. Disabled Veteran but like Timex I take a licking and keep on ticking.
LCDR Susan (Hoyle) Ayers Class of 1987
Navy, 20+ Years Currently serving on active duty in the Navy as a LCDR in the Supply Corps for over 21 years. I went to CBHS form 1984-1985 and always call it home.
Marvin Lee Tatum Class of 1968
Marine Corps, 3 Years Marvin served in Vietnam from 1968 to 1970 in the tank division, with multiple duties, but his main duty was to serve as gunner.He was awarded many medals, but among the was a medal for 'courage beyond the line of duty'. He saved more than one of his fellow Marines, as so many of them did.
Michael Kirk Class of 1966
Army, 20+ Years Military Police Corp, Currently on active duty serving at Fort Drum, NY. Recalled to active duty Feb 08 for two years, then recalled again Aug. this year.
Stephen Gene Holt Class of 1973
Army, 20+ Years Medically retired as a Colonel after 26 years. Served with the 82d Airborne Division at Ft Bragg NC, and earned the Master Parachutist Badge, Next assignment was the 193d Infantry Brigade in the Republic of Panama, where I did my Company Command and spent a lot of time in Honduras on various missions. Returned to Ft Lee for the Quartermaster Career course. I was the Distinguished Graduate from the course, and I also earned the coveted Logistics Award from the Logistics Center. Spent some time in the Subsistence Dept writing classroom instructional media as well as doctrine before transferring over to Combat Developments, where I met the leadership at Natick Army Labs, who are responsible for developing material solutions to military requirements. I then went into the Army Reserves, occupying Mobilization augmentee spots, until I was activated in October 2001 in response to the tragic events of 9-11. I retired in April 2006 at West Point, where my career began.
Suellyn Vanderslice Class of 1966
Air Force, 4 Years Captain, USAF; 1982 - 1986. Completed APA Approved Residency in Clinical Psychology at Wilford Hall Medical Center, Lackland AFB, San Antonio, TX., then 3 years as Chief of Psychology, Tyndall AFB, Panama City, FL. Currently honored to be working with "Wounded Warriors," Joint Base San Antonio, Brooks Army Medical Center, San Antonio; DOD Army Civil Servant.
