Hello all!
After some discussion on our class Facebook page, it's been decided to press forward with a casual reunion over Venetian. One of our own classmates, Jon Archambault, will be performing with his band Thursday evening, July 23rd in East Park...how cool is that?! So with the awesome live entertainment, the Tiki Tent in the park for adult beverages, and the gorgeous views we all know and love, we have many of the bases covered for the makings of a great reunion!
Other ideas have been suggested for continuing the festivities through the evening by moving to the Tiki Tent, the Townhouse, or even out to the dunes (ah, memories). We've also had suggestions for including events on other days, such as a family picnic at one of the local beaches. We have a few months to discuss these options, so PLEASE send me your ideas. Please spread the word to those you keep in touch with who aren't on Facebook, and invite those who are on Facebook to join this page. I have the contact list from our last reunion, and will work on contacting classmates as well.

Reunion update as of 07/15/2015 --
I received a couple questions regarding the progress/updates for our reunion on Thursday evening, July 23rd, so here's where we stand at the moment:
There are 153 classmates on the contact list; of which, I still have no means to contact three people: Michelle Pond, Randy Ray, and Mitch Hough. If anyone has any information to reach these classmates, please send me a private message.
To-date, I have received responses from classmates indicating that 19 will be attending, 24 are unable to attend, and 12 may be able to attend. We will be meeting in East Park down by the left side of the bandshell during the Jon Archambault Band's performance. The band starts at 7pm, but please feel free to come down early. A fairly accurate attendance count is needed so we can stake out a large enough meeting area. Please mark above whether you will be attending.
In the event the concert is rained out, we will move our meeting place to the Flight Deck, as the other establishments downtown will be packed, and the beer tent area in the park is only partially covered. The event time will still be 7pm.
So far, the gathering on Thursday night is the only 'event' scheduled. Again, if anyone is interested in organizing other reunion gatherings, please feel free to use this page to post ideas/suggestions. There's still time to plan, and I will be happy to forward the information to those contacted by email, mail, word-of-mouth, etc.
Another item of possible interest -- there will be an All-School Reunion in the lower level of the Weathervane Restaurant immediately following the parade on Saturday, July 25th. I have been to this event in the past; it's a nice event where you can reconnect with other CVX grads...several of our high school teachers also attend.
