Served as Corspman (medic) at Naval Hospital Great Lakes (North of Chicago), Philadelphia Naval Shipyard (Now closed), Yokosuka, Japan aboard USS Gary (FFG-51) (Guided Missile Fast Frigate), and Mayport Naval Station in Mayport Florida. Achieved rank of 2nd Class Petty Officer,Corpsman (e-5). Served 2 tours in theatre of Enduring Freedom for Afganistan.

Enlisted in the Navy in 1968 to avoid the Army. Learned electronics and served 18 yrs up to Senior Chief (E8) when I was commissioned as a Warrant Officer and served another 12 yrs. Retired in 1998 and currently reside in Sebring,FL

Dennis served in Vietnam as a paratrooper (173 rd Airborne) 1967-1968. He was wounded on Hill 875 and received a Purple Heart.
