served in Vietnam with the 101st Air Borne Division, was wounded in the back and legs by grenade shrapnel on Apr. 29, 1969
served in Germany at Bad Hersfeld with the 14th Armored Cavalry, at Ft. Knox, Ky for nearly 5 years as a Drill Sergeant, at Ft. Campbell, Ky twice (1969, 1971) and in South Korea from Nov 1975 until Mar 1977 with the 2nd Infantry Division

I got a medical discharge after 12 years of service. I miss the military life and i was able to see the world. I lived in germany for 8 of those years and would have stayed longer if the Army would have allowed me to.

Retired from active duty with 20 years of service in the Submarine Forces. Served on the USS Archerfish, USS West Virginia and USS Tennessee. While serving, made two ICEX runs in 1986 and 1988, One mediterranean tour and numerous patrols.
