The event is in the early planning stages, but will be in El Paso, we're just not sure when. We would like to plan it when the weather is nice, i.e. not too hot.

LaNita Campbell Slayton and me, DeDe Sons, are beginning the process of locating '72 grads. I have a Burges '72 group on Facebook and as I find fellow grads, I add them as friends and then to the group so as the plans progress, we can keep everyone informed.

The reunion will be held from Friday, August 7, 2009 through Sunday, August 9, 2009 in El Paso, TX. Friday night we'll have a cook-out Luau/mixer by the Vista Hill's pool. Saturday noon there will be a golf outing, and Saturday night there will be a party/dance and lots of drinking, laughing, and old war story telling. All three of these events will be held at the Vista Hills Country Club. On Sunday, we're going to have some kind of late morning brunch-type get-together, but those details are still being ironed out. ALL events are casual with the focus on fun and remembering our great youth and friendships. We are also working very hard to keep the cost of all events low and accessible to all. Spouses/partners are welcomed at all events. Kids should be able to attend the Friday night event, although it may not start until 8:00 PM. The Saturday event is intended for adults.
