I am looking for ideas of how our Alumni can support the upcomming levy. Is there anyone out there that his an idea? We have less than 30 days. I will take any suggestions to heart. Please contact me...Anita Barnhart or any on the levy organizational committee.

Are you a Buckeye Alumni? Do you still hold Buckeye near and dear to your heart? If you do we have an event for you. The levy committe is holding a levy kick off event at the Buckeye Campus. There will be a beautification project, the construction of the Fence of Dreams and various other activities. If you can get to the Buckeye Campus, even if you no longer live in the district, please try to come. If you can help bring your garden tools, gloves, cooler, and creativity. We could use dontations of Iitems such as plants and mulch. Monitary donations to the Citizens for Good Schools will also be appreciated. PLEASE COME JOIN A DAY OF APPRECIATION TO OUR CAMPUS. OUR STUDENTS NEED YOUR HELP!

Buckeye School Levy - August 7th 2012
To all those ALUM who are residents of the Buckeye Schools currently, please help spread the word and VOTE YES on August 7th, 2012 for the Buckeye Schools Levy!!! This levy is ONLY to retain the current status of Buckeye Schools. Buckeye has NOT passed a levy since 1994. Since then, the School Board has had to cut at least 50 positions/staff members, as well as many important school programs. This levy passage will NOT get those programs back. If the levy passes in August, this will only maintain status quo for a few more years. BUCKEYE IS HURTING and your alma mater needs your voting support! IF you want to help in ANY WAY with pre-levy things, attend meetings, pass out flyers, put up signs, please contact me and I will forward your name onto Anne (Tolsma) Murphy who is spearheading a very important marketing project to SAVE BUCKEYE SCHOOLS on August 7th!!! Thank you! GO BUCKS!

Medina Alzheimer's Memory Walk
"Team Buckeye Alumni", consisting of '88 and '89 class members Jason Bodak, Becky Berger Borling, Jackie Dahoda, Tammy Asad Downs, Suzie Edgerton Forte and Dina Mott Harvey walked on Saturday the 26th, in honor/memory of loved ones afflicted with the disease. Our team raised almost $1500 for the cause and the fundraiser as a whole finished at over $26,000. Our team banner reflects the Buckeye Buck and those we walked in honor of. We would love to showcase the 6' x 2 1/2' banner. Please contact Tammy Asad Downs at skooter941@comcast.net with any ideas.
