BCHS Class of 1979 to celebrate 30 Years!
The Brownstown Central High School class of 1979 will have their 30 year reunion Oct. 23, 24th, & 25th, 2009. All members of the class of 1979 are invited to attend. There is no charge for most of the events, but classmates are asked to bring a covered dish, bread, chips, or snacks for the dinner & dance on Saturday night and the picnic on Sunday. The golf scramble on Sat. will cost $30 per person and that includes the cart.
Activities will begin Oct. 23rd with an ice breaker on Friday evening at 7p at TJ's in Ewing, a golf scramble on Saturday morning at 10a at Hickory Hills golf course, a hog roast and pitch in dinner on Saturday evening at 6p at the American Legion in Brownstown, and a family picnic at Starve Hollow on Sunday afternoon at 1pm at the beach shelter house. The reunion committee is also selling 30 year commemorative T shirts for $15.00 and the money raised goes to pay for the reunion.
Invitations were sent and the reunion committee has received RSVP's from about half of the class.
