Reunion Schedule of Events

Thursday, July 23, 2015 Events:
Open Mic Night
Crystal Bar, Thursday, July 23, 9:00 p.m.

Start the party early by participating in the open mic at the Crystal Bar. Open to artists of all types - musicians (accordion players, too), comedians, poets, etc.
Kerry Ness (Scranton native and member of the band Thunder Road) will provide sound system and back-up music.

Friday, July 24, 2015 Events:
Sunrise Walk
At our 30th reunion, some of us met at Jabr's Family Restaurant (the old Gateway Inn) at 8:00 a.m. for a walk around Bowman's walking and biking paths, and then we had breakfast (caramel rolls) at the restaurant afterwards. It was a refreshing and fun start to the day, as well as an opportunity for more catching up. I like to walk anyway, and if you do, too, bring your walking gear, and let's do this again in 2015! People can start earlier (you know how it all depends on what happened the night before)--the time to meet is up to you and your friends.

*Friday afternoon (time and tour to be announced). Wander aimlessly with the rest of us. Enjoy a leisurely stroll down the streets, boulevards, and walk paths in the community. Guaranteed to stir up some nostalgia or your money back (it's free).
Dr. Chuck Whitney, DC, will host the walk and answer all of your questions. For more information contact Chuck at 701-523-5992.

Sweetwater Golf Scramble
4-man scramble beginning Friday, July 24 thru' Sunday, July 26.
Contact Don Groll, clubhouse/course manager, at (701) 523-6300 for more information. http://www.sweetwatergolfcourse.com/

BHS All Class Reunion Registration
All Day
The city would like to have participants register in order to use as a reference for planning future reunions.
*Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the alumni registration--your assistance would be greatly appreciated. Just let me know.*

Outrageous Prom Do-Over:
Rouzie Recreation Center (Old Gym)
Social starts at 7:00pm.
Welcoming Skit & Grand March at 9:00 pm
Dance from 9:00pm-1:00am.
Make your reunion entrance a grand one! The Friday evening main event
--a socializing opportunity--will be a
Prom for All Classes with live music, decorations and
optional FORMAL, RETRO, VINTAGE, COSTUME, or CASUAL attire. It's your free choice--we won't judge you.
SINGLES WELCOME!

Maybe you have an old bridesmaid dress or groomsman suit/tux--this is your chance to wear it again! Homecoming, rodeo queens, etc. and attendants--break out those old tiaras and sashes! I never got one, so I may buy myself one, just because. Whatever you wear (no birthday suits, please), it's your chance to step out of your ordinary threads and life, use your vast imagination, and have some fun. If you'd rather not dress up, that's okay with us, too--but don't let it keep you from joining the rest of us at the prom. And at this event--you DO NOT need a DATE! There will be friends there you will probably want to visit with. My husband and alumnus, Kelly Binek, has been in contact with the Rouzie Rec Center/Old Gym, and is in the throes of decorating it up for old-times sake. The theme is "There's No Place Like Home"/Wizard of Oz. Helping us decorate Thursday and Friday, mornings and afternoons, will be another great opportunity to visit while creating together. Kick-start the weekend by arriving decked out at the Gym, visit and dance a bit, and find out where your classmates are meeting the rest of the weekend.
