Hello Folks: James Walker, here. I graduated from college in 1972 from San Francisco State University with a B.A. degree in Broadcast Communication Arts. I have worked in television as a master control board operator, studio camera operator and studio lighting director. I the went to work at San Francisco Bay Area radio station KSOL. I voiced and produced human interest shows, was for a time, news director with a mention of me in Jet magazine. I also did on-air announcing and produced award winning product commercials and public service announcements for the armed forces. I also did the voices for said commercials and announcements, I was also an on-the- air live radio personality (D.J.) with the 2nd highest rated show in the Bay Area. I was also in Law enforcement as a Deputy Sheriff for San Mateo County. I am now retired and am currently a certified professional tennis coach and instructor. I am a member uf the United States Professional Tennis Association I have been a highly ranked Northern California player and in 2011 was ranked #1 mixed doubles player for Northern California and named player of the year for the 60year old age group. 4 years ago, I coached a senior team to the National championships held in Las Vegas Nevada. I have also written published articles regarding teaching tennis to seniors, with one of the articles appearing in a National magazine for teaching professionals. I have done sky diving, cave exploration, martial arts contact fighting tournaments (one first place),rock climbing, certified s.c.u.b.a. diver,remote controlled model plane flyer, Qualified for the National Senior Championships in Tennis. I have no children, am 5'9" 169lbs and am now bald. I live in a retirement community and like it very much. Many things to do. A brief article in a National publication called "Inside Tennis" was written about me and my tennis abilities. When I was 49 years old I finished 2nd in a bodybuilding competition held in Sacramento California. I no longer look like that (smile).
