About Me "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord. "Plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 Lindsay is an artist who has excelled in her craft since age four, with the determination to make her dreams and aspirations come true. The driving force behind her musical and acting career has been passion. That passion, taking her from encore playroom concerts for childhood friends, to sharing the bill at the Grand Ole Opry with country legends, such as; Roy Acuff, Porter Wagoner, Randy Travis, Vince Gill, along with other top stars. Her career has led to musical contracts in world famous venues in Las Vegas, Nevada, performing various genres of today's most popular music for fans across the world, and home again to Nashville, Tennessee, doing what she loves most: singing country music! At the youthful age of seven, this green eyed brunette made her first public appearance at the family church, in her native Independence, Missouri. Lindsay soon became a much sought after performer in church events across the state. Her voice and ability to entertain at such a young age, brought forth an invitation for a musical production to honor President Reagan, at one of his visits to the "Show Me State". The "mini" solo concerts to taped music and other musical productions fueled the desire that shaped her future in the music industry. A family move to Houston, Texas inspired her further to follow the dream of entertaining thousands with her captivating voice and entertainment style that many say is "just a breath of fresh air" to watch. By age ten, she was a regular on the Lone Star state's music circuit. Performing at such venues as; the Grapevine Opry, Wylie Opry, Mesquite Opry, and the Texas Opry in Tomball, where she is a charter member along with country music star Clint Black. Even though the Opry appearances kept her busy she enjoyed competing in the state talent contests across the great state. The competitions awarded her with well over fifty trophies and other various awards, including first place in the, Texas State Talent Contest. Larger venues began seeking her to grace their stages; the Ozark Mountain Music Festival, the Arkansas Opry and Kansas City Opry. At age of thirteen, Lindsay recorded her first single "Take Me With You When You Fall". This release reached number one on the independent charts and remained in the top ten for an amazing eighteen weeks with air play and on jukeboxes throughout Texas, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma and Missouri. Fun Fact~ in some venues the record had to be replaced due to heavy play causing the needle to run through the vinyl. Her following single, “Diapers and Diamonds" she achieved back to back hits. At age fourteen, Lindsay and family moved to Nashville, Tennessee. Here she made her television debut on Ralph Emery's national "Nashville Now". That performance gained a tremendous response from the viewing audience which led many of Lindsay's fans to her booth at Fan Fair that year. It was at this time she was invited to be the opening act, for Vern Gosdin, at the Nashville Center Stage in Nashville for Fan-Fair week. The following spring she was a winner on TNN's (The Nashville Network) "You Can Be A Star", performing the first song she had ever written at sixteen, “Turn Off The Memories". Her television career continued moving forward as a weekly performer on the local morning show in Nashville, "The Channel 4 Morning Show". After auditioning for a position at Nashville's very own theme park, Opryland U.S.A., she was hired female vocalist on the "Kickin' Country Show". She remained a full time entertainer at Opryland, performing in some of their most popular shows like "The Rising Star Show" and Dick Clark's, "American Bandstand Classics". Lindsay became the new lead singer for Mercury/Polygram's recording group "Twister Alley”, after simultaneously doing local session work, and being approached by their manager after only hearing a simple “demo” of her vocals. Her continued dedication to Gaylord's Opryland U.S.A. and soaring popularity, led to a lead singing position in yet another Gaylord Entertainment featured show at the Alabama Theatre, in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Billboards featuring Lindsay, country music fans worldwide, were welcomed to one of our nation’s hottest resorts. She continued working for Gaylord Entertainment on and off for several years. During this time, Lindsay began to expand her acting horizons into television, stage and film productions, staring in Lifework Productions' "Real Friends”, and "A Little Bit Of Magic" (motivational stage shows). Lindsay also co-starred with Charles Napier in Silver Creek Film's movie production "Bootscootin". While in Myrtle Beach, Lindsay became acquainted with a talent agent in Las Vegas who offered her a position as lead female singer of one of Las Vegas' most sought after show bands. Relocating to Nevada, she began performing five nights a week at the Mirage Hotel/Casino. Eventually forming her own band, “Remix", Lindsay and her talented crew landed several "house gigs" in some of the most popular hotel/casinos on the Las Vegas strip; The Venetian, Mandalay Bay, Tropicana, Paris, Bally's, Caesar's Palace, Excalibur, Luxor, are among some of the largest that Las Vegas has to offer. You can presently find her still owning the stage with her Houston, Texas based Karaoke/DJ show doing private parties, pool parties and conventions. She is fastly becoming one of the hottest sought out acts in Houston and surrounding areas. Offering clients a huge genre of karaoke and dj music while adding her own flavor of seasoned talent. Lindsay is an intriguing combination; mature voice and seasoned stylist with an energetic and effervescent stage show. Her performance leaves you witnessing, a love affair between a performer and her audience. The passion this artist has for her music and her audience is an artistic dance that leaves you singing along long after the show is over. Success starts with a dream. The dream becomes desire. The desire becomes determination. Mix that with a whole lot of talent, st...(read more)
