The class of 1969 is having a "casual type get together" reunion at Blackbirds Grille in Sayville on July 12, 2014. It is a pay as you go reunion, so no huge expenses to send in ahead of time. We are also inviting the classes that were closest to us, such as 1967, '68' 70' 71' 72....and so on. Blackbirds has great food, full liquor bar and a great party atmosphere. We really would like everyone to come to this one, as it may not be too many years from now that we can't all come back to town at once and get together again. We are trying to keep it casual so that no one has to put together a lot of cash for it, especially if they are flying into town for the reunion. Oh, and just because the event says 4 - 7 p.m., doesn't mean that we can't hang out the rest of the evening....the bar is open late. That is just the time that they put aside for the reunion party. I hope y'all can come to it....but I really do need some people to start RSVP'ing, as Blackbirds wants a continuous update on the amount of people that are coming to this event.
