I was in training as a Infantry basic training in Ft Campbell Ky. We trained with the 101. ( one hundred and first air borne rangers ). AIT advanced individual training, Ft Lewis, Washington, with orders for Kitizen,Germany 7 months and with orders for Vietnam Nam. For the rest of my tour which was Sept 1968- April 1970, which I was with MACA-- Military assistance command Vietnam and also with 1st logistics command Vietnam. This was a very troubling time in my life, not knowing day to day. (unknown to us if we will see civilian life as we knew it. We all came back with a fear that we all have to live with it. One mistake that I made before going to Vietnam was a young lady from Marshfield,Wisconsin that I regret to this day, I should have asked,WOULD YOU MARRY ME.
