For the 6th consecutive year, the Agua Fria Boys Track Team won the West Valley Regional title. This year the team won in dominating fashion, scoring 147 points and winning by 72 points. Several team members qualified for the 4A State Championship, which takes place on May 13.

The Night Owl Jazz Band performed at the Arizona State Jazz Festival on Thursday, April 30th and received a rating of Superior with Distinction .
This is the highest award a band can receive.
They performed the music of Miles Davis, Thelonius Monk and Manschtitz/Sherwin.

JROTC'S BLOOD DRIVE ON APRIL 15, 2009 WAS A HUGE SUCCESS, WITH STUDENTS AND STAFF DONATING ENOUGH BLOOD TO SAVE 300 LIVES.

ROTC State Finals' Results
10-person Unarmed Drill Team earned 3rd place for Inspection.
4-person Unarmed Drill Team earned 2nd place for Exhibition Drill.
