About	Susan K. Thandupurakal nee Stuttle, 49, of Fox Lake and formerly of Zion, loving wife, mother, sister and friend, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 16, 2009, at her home after a long courageous battle with cancer. She was born Dec. 30, 1959, in Libertyville. She was a longtime employee of the Midwestern Regional Medical Center and retired as the director of human resources. She dedicated much of her time to community and charity work and will be missed by her family and friends who will remember her loving, generous and strong spirit. She is survived by her loving husband, Dr. Thomas Thandupurakal; her beloved son, Sean Thandupurakal; her brother, Jeff Stuttle; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Varghese; her sisters-in-law, Joyce Stuttle, Usha Joseph and Nisha Thomas; her nephew, Scott Stuttle; and her adoring nieces. She was preceded in death by her father, Clinton G. Stuttle; her mother, Helen S. Stuttle; and her brother, Scott Stuttle. The visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18, and again from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. services Saturday, Dec. 19, at K.K. Hamsher Funeral Home, 12 N. Pistakee Lake Road, Fox Lake. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks that donations be made to the Susan Thandupurakal Scholarship Fund, 1310 S. U.S. Highway 12, Fox Lake, IL 60020, for students dedicated to helping their community and charities.
