About	Larry Espinosa, 54, of Zion, IL, passed away to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 8, 2014, at Vista Medical Center East, Waukegan, IL. Larry was born April 4, 1960, in Zion, IL, and graduated from Zion-Benton Township High School in 1978. He was a fifteen year employee at the Whey Chai restaurant in Zion and prior to that he worked for fifteen years as a roofer. Larry enjoyed cooking, bicycling and listening to music. He also very much enjoyed playing cards with his nieces and nephews. Larry was a very hard worker and loved to joke around. Survivors include a son, Joe Bryan Espinosa of Texas; three granddaughters; mother, Christina O. Espinosa of Zion; Three brothers, Steve (Gail) Espinosa, Johnny Espinosa and Ricky Espinosa, all of Zion, IL and five sisters; Rosie Espinosa of Round Lake Park, IL; Susie Nunn of Zion, IL; Christine (Horacio) Alaniz of McAllen, TX; Sophie Espinosa of Chicago, IL; Alice (Arturo) Bahena of Zion, IL and Lisa (Jaime) Olivarez of Waukegan, IL. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Esteban Espinosa; sister, Yolanda Espinosa; and brother-in-law, Harold Nunn. Viewing will be held at Congdon Funeral Home, 3012 Sheridan Rd., Zion, IL on Monday, November 17, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will follow at Mt. Olivet Memorial Park, Zion at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the family are suggested.
