About	On August 1, 1960, Michelle Yvette Campbell the angel we all know and loved was born to proud parents of Normal Campbell and John Campbell, Sr. Michelle was the baby girl and affectionally known as “Ouch”. She was tender headed and our mother had a heavy hand. She attended Zion Elementary Schools and a graduate of College of Lake County, with an Associate Degree, Lake Forest College, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Michelle retired from AT & T after thirty years of service. She was a volunteer at the Zion Benton Public Library for 10 years and worked at Newport Elementary School, as a Safety Patrol Monitor. Michelle was Head of Housekeeping, Mothers Board and Amour Bearer for the First Lady at Word Of Life Ministries. She was a faithful member and had an undeniable love for Christ, learning that you first have to have a relationship with our Father in order to seek understanding. Spreading the Word and the love of the Lord to all willing to hear. She spoke with the youth in and out of the church always expressing that Jesus is real and HE is everywhere. Michelle was an avid cook and reader. Known for her specialties of German Chocolate Cake and Peach Cobbler. She volunteered for 8 years at the Zion Community Focus Group After School Program, challenging children to read. Michelle possessed a light that will forever shine in the lives of those who loved her. Michelle was called home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2019. She is preceded in death by her parent’s John and Normal Campbell and her brothers John Campbell, Jr, George Campbell (Boss Hog), Daavid Campbell She leaves cherished memories to her siblings: William Harrison, Kathryn Campbell, Beverly Mull (Anthony), David Stackhouse (Portia) Doris Robinson (Chester) Edward Campbell, Noland Clyde, Mary Lewis, Adam Campbell, Angelo Forbes, Jean Almozon (Pamela), Andrea Campbell, Carolyn Rice, Jeffrey Rice. God Children: Donte Staples, Rico Campbell, Leticia Childs, Jovan Pippens Michelle loved all her nieces and nephews. Last but not least a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Michelle was a beautiful soul and will be deeply missed. I am sure we all have learned a thing or two from Michelle. We love you Sister! The Home Going Celebration will be at the Word of Life Ministries, 10215 W. Beach Road , Beach Park , IL on Tuesday, August 06, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. Apostle Ernest Taylor Officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be private.
