About	Alice L. Peden Smyth, 76, of South Huntingdon Twp., passed away peacefully, early Sunday morning, August 21, 2016 at Excela Health Frick Hospital, Mt. Pleasant, Pa. She was born March 9, 1940, in Smithton, Pa., a daughter of the late Michael and Hazel Huss Peden. She was Catholic by faith and was a Graduate of South Huntingdon High School Class of 1958 and California University, where she earned her Bachelor’s Degree in 1962. Alice was a retired school teacher for the Yough School District with 40 years of service. She loved spending quality time with her three grandsons, who were the love of her life. She was also an avid lover of “All” animals. Alice is gone from our lives but will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her; Her Two loving and devoted Children: Lorraine A. Pore of Smithton Jay “Butchie” Pore and wife Delilah of West Newton Her Three Loving Grandsons: JT, Jordan and Jackson Pore all of West Newton And Three Surviving Siblings In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by: Six Brothers In keeping with Alice’s wishes, following Cremation, Inurnment will be in the West Newton Cemetery. Final arrangements for Alice have been entrusted to the Frank Kapr Funeral Home, Inc. 417 W. Pittsburgh St. Scottdale.
