About	David Allen May, 51, of Swoyersville passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. He was born in Plymouth, the son of Dorothy Hunlock May and the late Russell May Sr. David graduated from Wyoming Valley West High School in 1976 and was employed at Thruway Fasteners, Pittston Township. He was an avid Penn State and Indianapolis Colts fan. David was a devoted father who had coached both his daughter's softball and son's T-ball teams in Swoyersville. He attended Franklin Street Primitive Methodist Church of Plymouth. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Slusarz May, with whom he would have celebrated his 20th wedding anniversary in September. He is also survived by his daughter, Rachel, and son, Michael, both of Swoyersville; mother, Dorothy May, Plymouth; brother, Russell May Jr. and his wife, Cynthia, Kingston; a sister, Cheryl May, Plymouth; his mother and father-in-law, Bernard and Bernadette Slusarz, Mountain Top; an aunt and uncle, nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from William A. Reese Funeral Chapel, rear 56 Gaylord Ave., Plymouth, with the Rev. David Wildoner officiating. Friends may call Saturday, 9:30 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the "May Children's Educational Fund" at M&T Bank, 800 Wyoming Ave. Kingston, PA 18704.
