About	Frank J. Zdeb, 61, of Mountain Top passed away Friday at Hospice of VNA, Heritage House. Frank remained at home throughout the course of his illness and was constantly surrounded by his loving family. Born Aug. 8, 1947, in Plymouth, he was the son of the late Frank Sr. and Sophie Strosky Zdeb. He was a graduate of Plymouth High School and attended Penn State University. Frank was employed by E.J. Rogan Co., Laflin. Throughout his life, Frank greatly enjoyed classic cars, especially his Corvette, and rock music. He had a great passion for the outdoors, where he liked to hike and garden. His favorite places to travel were Cape May, N.J., and Bar Harbor, Maine. Although he never liked to dress up, his calm and quiet ways brought peace to his family. His great advice, financial help and loving spirit will be deeply missed. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, the former Cheryl Konopki; daughter, Karena, at home; sister, Barbara Kotar and her husband, Larry, Athens; niece, Suzanne Barbosa and her husband, Sammy; nephew, David Kotar; sister-in-law, Diane Moser and her husband, George, Luzerne; and nephews, Mark Balyuskonis, Luzerne; and Matthew Baltuskonis, Philadelphia. The funeral will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from S.J. Grontkowski Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in All Saints Parish, Plymouth. Interment will be in St. Mary's Nativity Cemetery, Plymouth Township.
