About	David Royer passed away on July 9, 1972 after surviving for 3 months in a coma. David was attacked on Sat, April 30, 1972 and was found the following afternoon in the new HS gym which was under construction. His family is seeking any information on that nights events as well as names and contact information on friends of his (specifically his friend who lived on Grove St). There has been no justice for David and we are praying someone knows something and would be brave enough to reach out. I am his niece Keri. I was new to Woonsocket and in 7th grade where David sat in back of me in one of my classes. He was the kindest young man and was very sweet to me. It was just shocking and heartbreaking that this happened to him. It amazes me to this day that no information was ever forthcoming. Best of luck in your search for answers Keri.
