About	Class of '47 president Richard "Dick" Kessler passed away on June 23, 2011. Dick served four years in the U.S. Air Force ('47-'51) and was a Korean War veteran. He was employed for 40 years in the Engineering Department at Dixie Cup (later American Can; presently James River), retiring in 1991. Wife Nancy (Case) Kessler -- also a member of the Class of '47 -- passed away this April. Dick was 82. He is survived by son Karl (Class of '78) and daughter Kathryn (Class of '80), as well as grandsons Cameron and Christian Kessler of Brecksville, Ohio.
