About	Age-65 After high school Becky received her degree from Kirkwood Community College. She married George “Rex” Rowe on September 2, 1972, in Williamsburg. Becky worked for the University of Iowa for 29 years as an Assistant for the Dean of Engineering. In 1999 she received the Outstanding Staff Award for her significant accomplishments and contributions to the University. Unable to stary retired, Becky became the Senior Executive Assistant to the President of Iowa Wesleyan College in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa where she and Rex had lived for many years. After a second retirement she finally really retired In September of 2017, as the District Administrative Assistant of the SE District of the Iowa Conference of the United Methodist Church. Becky most enjoyed days when she was on a day trip with Rex, antiquing, scouting eagles on the Mississippi River, volunteering to transport animals, “Sisters Days”, and spending time with friends and family. She also liked her nails to be done at all times! 2018 July 4th we had an impromptu get together at the Sundown in the Burg. Becky was able to attend-we reminisced and laughed and laughed.
