Bert Gasiewski, class of '05, is one of us... our neighbor, our classmate, our son. A 2005 Fremd graduate, he is gracious, considerate and mild-mannered with a great sense of humor... a son to be proud of.
One year ago, Bert was diagnosed with lymphoma, and with 8 months of chemotherapy, the cancer was in remission. Early this summer, the cancer returned in a more deadly form � leukemia. The day after his 21st birthday, Bert was taken to the hospital. The cancer exploded, and nearly claimed his life over the 4th of July weekend.
Bert�s only hope for a cure is a marrow transplant. Bert, and thousands of other sons and daughters like him, needs our help! Ten minutes is all it takes to register as a donor� Please take ten to help Bert save his dreams!
