About	Rosalie (Rosie) Rakes, 51, of Roanoke, passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011. Rosie was very proud of her son who had recently returned from military service in Afghanistan. Surviving are her son, Keith A. Rakes, USNR; mother, Margaret Collier; brother, Jack Collier; sister, Carolyn Mowry; many nieces and nephews; and her many dear friends among the nursing staff at Friendship Health and Rehabilitation Center. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Sherwood Memorial Park.
