Whitmore Lake High School Alumni

A chapter on assessment and treatment of environmental emergency written by Jon Hockman (WLHS'79) has been published by Jones & Bartlett Publishing. "Critical Care Transport" is a new textbook that will be used throughout the US in training Paramedics and aeromedical flight teams dealing with critically ill patients. Jon is currently the Director of Education for an EMS academy in the Detroit area and runs his own training and consulting business.

My son, Zachary Carpenter (2010) just beat the track school record in the 3200m run, currently held by Jay Caruso. It was very exciting to watch. For a little school, we've always had some amazing running talent. I just wish Larry could have been here to see it!
