About	In this year when the class of 1968 remembers and celebrates a 50 year reunion let us remember: Matt was a special person, he touched everybody he came into contact with, and even those at Westmont who knew him at a distance. His touch was a positive encouraging remark or pat on the back, or when destiny called for him to take leadership and lead his classmates. He passed from our lives while serving his country as he was called to do in Vietnam. 50 years have passed but he is not forgotten and his life examples have lived on as a gift to us from a special person that Matt remains in memory.
