Stambaugh High School Class of 1933. My Mother, Edna ( Marchinowski) Scheske has this in her possesion and unfortunatly she has Dementia Alzheimers and is unable to tell us who it belongs to. We vaguely remember her saying her first boyfriend's name was George, but non of us (her childern) can remember. The initials engraved inside are G _ S. We really would like this ring to be given back to the family where it belongs. My name is Marie and you think this ring belongs to someone you know and you can provide the middle initial to me, My e-mail address is mjrere@aol.com Thank You.
The ring appears to be silver but is not tarnished so may be white gold. It has West Iron County H S in a circle around a blue saphire. The ring is class of 1982 and has a torch and book on one side with Truth, Loyalty and Honor on one side and a Lion above Wykon on the other. The ring was found at the Sun N Fun RV Resort in Sarasota FL although the dirt here was brought in from another location. The ring could have been from a camper or possibly from a Sarasota/Tampa visitor years ago. I found the ring about 6 inches in the ground with my metal detector. The ring has a manufacturer name of Atrium on the inside with a name of a student. I will give the first name on the ring with middle initial but you must provide last name if it is your ring.
