Barry Cohen, class of 1971, released his second book in January of 2010. Startup Smarts; the Thinking Entrepreneur's Guide to Starting & Growing Your Business, is a comprehensive guide covering all aspects of a successful business startup. Barry co-authored it with Houston writer Michael Rybarski, a serial entrepreneur. Barry's first book, 10 Ways to Screw Up an Ad Campaign, originally appeared in 2001, with a second updated edition released in 2006. Both books were published by Adams Media in Avon, Massachusetts.
Today, Barry and his partner operate AdLab Media Communications, LLC, an ad agency, PR firm & audio-video production company in Clifton, NJ. Barry has also written guest columns for Performance magazine, Radio & Records magazine and Floorcovering Weekly magazine.
