About Me	Lived in Ohio for 42 years. Until I was 5 years of age our family lived in a historic area called the German Village. Our family came from a heavy German background. Bovaria Germany, and have wonderful memories spending my toddler years on the 2nd floor of her estate with our mom & dad. Our Great Grand Mothers home had German Hertiage all over. Used to help my Great Grand Father prepare grapes from his small vineyard by smashing the grapes with my feet in a big barrel. The Ohio Historical Center has a book that talks about our families business in 1899 to about 1950's 1st tool, dye, & dry cleaning company in Bexley Ohio outskirts. Back in the 80's our mom Mary Lapham is not sure if it is still around the book and also mentioned in one of the Ohio history books. According to our mom Mary Lapham. Tennis professional since my mid 20's before that played in Natl tournaments ranked in the US. coached college tennis & taught all ages and for persons who cannot walk. (wheelchair tennis) my tennis has taken me around the US and a few times half way around the world. Also taught tennis at OSU and at surruounding courntry clubs to Sr's/Teens. Worked at Unemployment office in the early 80's after attending school at Columbus State Community College major social services. Worked at Ohio Health in the finance dept for compliance/contracts. in 1986-2002. attended OSU major in adpative/recreation/sports leisure/business administration. through OSU. Married since 1986, after our honey moon we then vacationed at my husbands home town Long Priaire MN and Braidard. Then we would take one of our vacations yearly in winter and summer to visit his relatives, Aunts, Uncle, Grandma & Grandpa we would stay in those little MA & Pa fishing resorts near Long Prairie Alexandria area this is how I fell in love with the state and its special nature, skies, climate, the mass outdoors, and the lakes. Jon always wanted to come back to MN, and I always wanted to move somewhere just wasn't sure where. For 10 years we talked about doing something in our lives job wise that would bring us more harmony together. WE took our talents slowly, but surely, and created a new life that is less hectic, and more humble for us. (anyway). This is when we found some lake property. Bought a little fishing resort. Something that was not the norm traditional way this when we found Leisure Lane Resort.
