WHHS Class of 1975 40th Reunion, Fort Worth, TX
October 10, 2015 - The final 40th Class of 1975 Reunion event was well attended with over 100 people including a visit from the current WHHS Cougar Mascot – CUJO! Bette Sharp arranged for a well decorated 6-person golf cart to haul stuff, people, and even the Benbrook Stable’s ambassador, a shaggy dog named “Sammy”. Connie Sparks arranged for the DJ who nailed it with songs from the 1970s with a little help in music selection from Garry Houston (Garry included disco tunes begrudgingly). Dale Blankinship managed to get golf pencils out of the hands of Charlie Hahn. Robert Koger, who wishes to remain silent, was a huge help getting ice, coolers, and drinks ready ahead of time. And the event would not be complete without Kathy French arranging for the margarita machine from some Ft. Worth firefighters.
Prizes were won by Steve Larson for the Classmate Match Game and by Norman Niesen, Cassandra Bridgewater, and Garry Hoyt for winning tickets in our drawing. Mary Tout and Sandra Hart presented an honorable slide show tribute to classmate who have passed on. Tyler Kenney of Unique Chic Photography was seen in every corner snapping shots of the event. Thank you to spouses, Richard, Bobby and Galen, among others for helping us set up and for putting up with the committee’s planning meetings over the past year.
We were lucky to have “out of towners” attend including Tony Balthazar – Atlanta, Norman Niesen – Colorado, Ellen Pledger – California, Chandra Chandler – Maryland, Beverly Durham – South Carolina, Mark Welborn – San Antonio, and John Nabergall - Houston. Susan Mayo made the international link coming in from Alberta, Canada. A big thanks to Sheri Chandler, Class of 1978, for handling registration so the rest of the committee could mingle. The committee thanks everyone for coming and a special thanks to the sponsors to help fund the events over the year.

WHHS Alumni Golf Tournament
WHHS Alumni Golf Tournament which will be held at Whitestone Golf Club on Friday afternoon, June 4, 2010. The cost is only $65 per player, and includes a delicious BBQ dinner and Karaoke Party afterwards. All WHHS grads are welcome to play ... this is our 4th annual WHHS Alumni golf tournament, and we hope to have over 80 players participate.
