Veleria Brown-Garner retires

Veleria Brown-Garner Class of '68' has retired from the Irvington school district after thirty years of teaching Math at the High School and Fifth grade at University Elementary school. She has received numerous honors over the years and will be severely missed by her peers and students. She was a dedicated, committed teacher, Cheer leading coach, and Class Advisor. She will continue to coach the High School cheer leaders this year and may do some substitute teaching in the future.
