LAWRENCE - Arline F., 59, of West Islip has passed away peacefully after a year-longbattle with leukemia onThursday, September 2, 2010 at Good Samaritan Hospitalsurrounded by her dear friends and family. Arline was the loving daughter of the late Charles (Fred) and Ruth Lawrence and was a life-long resident of West Islip. Arline's life was filled with caring for many patients as a Registered Nurse and spending time with her friends and family. Arline had a love of laughter, a generous spirit, and a smile that could light up a room. She will be greatly missed by the manypeople's lives she has touched. Reposing at the Fredrick J.Chapey & Sons West Islip Funeral Home, 1225 Montauk Hwy. (1/4 mile West of the Robert Moses Cswy.). Visiting Monday 2:00PM until 4:30PM and 7:00PM until 9:30PM. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00AM at the United Methodist Church of Babylon, Babylon, LI. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Pinelawn, LI. In lieuof flowers, donations may be made in Arline's memory to the American Cancer Society, 132 West 32nd St., New York,New York 10001 or to TheLeukemia and LymphomaSociety, Long Island Chapter,555 Broadhollow Road, Suite 403, Melville, NY 11747.
