| About Me | After graduation from EMU in l975, I married and taught nursery school until 1981 when my own children were born. As I mothered them, I worked from home painting clothing, then fine art as well as buying and selling folk art and antiques. I also spent a lot of time volunteering for many non-profits. After my divorce, I took a job as development director with an Israel University, The Technion for 9 years. For 9 years I was the Michigan Director of Estate Services for the American Cancer Society. I traveled the state and met with impressive cancer survivors whom I educated about leaving a legacy to the Society. I also met with estate planning attorneys who let me know when their clients remembered ACS in their estate plans. In 2018 I accepted a new position as Executive Director of Development with Jewish Senior Life of Metropolitan Detroit and enjoy fundraising and marketing this amazing agency that cares for older adults in our Metropolitan Detroit community. I am the proud mother of two accomplished children, both married and have 4 grandchildren. I live near my brother and our family is very close.
