Jones' journey to the NFL began after stellar performances in college football for the Utah State Aggies. His talent was recognized in the 1980 NFL Draft, where he was picked by the Broncos. Throughout his career, he made valuable contributions to his team, playing for the Broncos from 1980 to 1988.
