About	BRASSTOWN — Walter Keith Hampton, 67, of Brasstown, passed away April 25, 2013, after a period of declining health. Born Jan. 23, 1946, Keith is the son of Wanda Scroggs Hampton and the late Bill Hampton. A graduate of Waynesville High School, Keith earned a Masters Degree from Western Carolina University. After co-owning An-Ton Chevrolet in Canton, Keith operated Heritage Chevrolet in Andrews and Murphy. Keith enjoyed sharing his faith and never met a stranger. In addition to his mother, Keith is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Harrell Hampton; his brother Roger Hampton, and wife, Gloria; son, Byron Hampton, and wife Annette; daughter, Wendy Hampton Britt, and husband Chris; and grandchildren Rachel and Daryl Hampton.
