About	William R. Ferguson May 28, 1947 – January 5, 2021 Wells Waynesville Some knew him as Dad, Uncle and Grandpa. Many knew him as Bill or Ferg and a great number knew him as Doc. William Ferguson was born on May 28, 1947, in Waynesville, North Carolina, which sat between the Great Smokey and the Blue Ridge mountains. Those of here remember him as our graduating class president.
