Events	Chad Robert Zwieg, 51, died from a work-related accident on March 20, 2024. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 26, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Mark’s Ev. Lutheran Church (615 Jones St. Watertown, WI 53094) with Rev. Karl Walther officiating. A meal will be served immediately following the service at the church. Relatives and friends may gather at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials would be appreciated to the church, Finish The Race fund, or to the family. He was born January 17, 1973, to Ron and Joyce (Tietz) Zwieg. He attended St. Mark’s Lutheran School and graduated from Watertown High School in 1991. He married the love of his life, Christy (Nelson) Fredrick on April 24, 2021. Chad is survived by: his wife, Christy; parents; one sister, Holli Penner, her husband, Greg, and their daughters, Sloan and Sawyer, all of Beatrice, NE; Christy’s father, Butch Nelson; Christy’s children and grandchildren, Casandra (Jairus) Stolar - Esther, Sarana, and Rilian, Caden Fredrick, and Ciara Nelson – Aleiyah and Xoe. He is further survived by many dearly loved aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was greeted in Heaven by his paternal grandparents, Lester, Sr. and Irene Zwieg; maternal grandparents, William, Sr. and Elda (Sterr) Tietz; uncles, Terrace and Robert Zwieg; cousins, Nikki Zwieg and Aaron Damrow; mother-in-law, Grace Nelson. Chad lived everyday listening to rock music and making everyone laugh with his one-liners and corny jokes. (Which he searched for on TikTok every night!) His “Happy Places” were in a tree stand, on a Rabbit Hunt, or in his bowfishing boat. He hated being out-fished or out-hunted by anyone, especially his wife! He loved his sweets (just like his dad) – and even had a stash in his recliner! He was known as the “Concrete Pimp.” He designed, layed out, and poured hundreds of patios, driveways, walkways, and firepits in the area. His passion for perfection made him “a go to man.” Most recently, he found great joy and satisfaction with his new work family.
