Events Cynthia "Cyndy" D. Zerbe, 67, of Fort Atkinson, formerly of Watertown, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2024 at Sienna Crest in Fort Atkinson.



A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church (413 S. 2nd St. Watertown, WI 53094) with Rev. Monica Burkert-Brist and Rev. Dcn. Bill Dunlop officiating. Relatives and friends may gather at the church from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Cyndy's remains will be placed next to her husband in the parish columbarium. Memorials, if desired, would be appreciated to the Church. Hafemeister Funeral Home and Cremation Service of Watertown is serving the family. Cynthia Diane Wakeley was born on December 25, 1956 to Milo and Dorothy (nee Slagle) Wakeley in Harvard, IL. She was a graduate of Watertown High School. On September 25, 1982 she married Darrel A. Zerbe "MICK" at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Watertown. Cyndy worked for Schaefer's Soft Water in Watertown for many years in the office until 2019 when she retired. She was a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Watertown. Cyndy enjoyed riding on their Harley together, cooking, camping, but most of all spending time with her family.



She is survived by her daughter, Jessica (Ricky) Reich of Watertown; son, Greg (Christine) Zerbe of Watertown; grandchildren: Logan Zerbe, Makenna Reich, Preston Reich; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.



Cyndy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Darrel on November 10, 2019; sister, Betty Jo Bruhn; nephew, Chad Bruhn.



The family would like to thank the staff at Sienna Crest in Fort Atkinson for the wonderful care they provided over the last year.
