Donald Arthur Bohn was born on his family's farm in the Town of Emmet on November 29, 1940, to Herman A. and Gertrude (nee Huebner) Bohn. He attended St. Mark's Grade School and Watertown High School, graduating in 1958. On May 15, 1965, Don married the former Lynn Knuth, at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Watertown. He worked on the farm with his father and lived across the street until his father's passing in 1989. Subsequently, he and Lynn assumed the responsibilities of the farm and homestead. Don was also known for his dedicated work hauling milk cans and collecting milk from bulk tanks. His pride in maintaining the farm and his love for his cows were evident to all who knew him.

In service to his community, Don held the position of President of the Lutheran Cemetery and served on the board of directors for both the Rock River Coop and the Watertown Mutual Insurance Company. He cherished the times spent with friends, particularly when playing Sheepshead.

Donald is survived by his wife of 58 years, Lynn Bohn of the Town of Emmet; his son, Brian Bohn of Watertown; his brother, Lorenz (Betty) Bohn of East Troy; his sisters-in-law, Lurae Bohn and Bonnie (Bob) Sell, both of Watertown; and numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, Ralph and Ronald (Mildred) Bohn; his sister, Vivian (Jim) Hissom; and his sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carole and Warren Topel.

The family would like to thank Rainbow Hospice for their compassionate care and all of their family and friends who help ease their kindness and support.
