About	Jim received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Westmont College in 1960 and a Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry .from the Univ. of California at Berkeley in 1965. He thoroughly enjoyed his 41 years as a college professor, retiring from Azusa Pacific University in 2006. He is survived by his wife Margaret, sons Jim and Mark, 3 grandchildren, and his sister Donna Knutson.
